Bulk carrier towed to Chattogram
The 'Common Calypso' arrived off Chattogram on Feb 12, 2026. The ship had suffered a main engine problem on Jan 11 In the Indian Ocean, enroute from Santos with a cargo of soya beans, The salvage company Tsavliris took the bulk carrier, which was drifting 10 nautical miles east of the Solomon Islands, in tow on Jan 15.
