Collision in the Kiel Canal
The "Team Oman" was in collision with the Dutch cargo vessel "Hydra" on the Kiel Canal at Breiholz on July 5, 2012, at 1.40 a.m. The "Team Oman" enroute Karlskrona-Portland got in touch with the passing "Hydra" which was enroute Bremen-Muuga, both ships suffered dents at the hull. No injuries reported. The ships were able to continue their voyages. The "Team Oman" berthed in Brunsbuettel for investigations around 5 a.m. and proceeded at noon. The "Hydra" berthed in the Scheer Port in Kiel around 6 a.m.
