CMA CGM Group Christens Largest Ship to Date – 18,000 TEU CMA CGM Georg Forster
CMA CGM Group has announced the christening of its newest and largest ship to date, the 18,000 TEU CMA CGM Georg Forster. The ship was christened during a ceremony in Hamburg Germany on Tuesday attended by Jacques R. Saadé, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CMA CGM Group, Mrs Christine Kuehne, the vessel’s godmother, and other institutional and political representatives, partners and clients. The 398 meter CMA CGM Georg Forster was delivered June 2nd and is the second of a 6 vessels of the same size series that will enter the fleet in 2015. Source: CMA CGM Press release
