Two ships allegedly attacked in Indian Ocean
According to a report, the 'Cem Silicon' and the 'Pacific Gold' were attacked in the indian Ocean northwest of the Maldives and near the port of Kochi on Jan 4, 2024. Al-Mayadeen stated that the attacks on the two ships occurred 48 hours after the assassination of the deputy head of the Hamas political bureau, Saleh al-Aaruri, on Jan 2, in an attack attributed to Israel. It also follows the assassination of Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) military advisor Brigadier General Seyyed Razi Mousavi on December 25 in an Israeli attack on Syria.
