The 'Chemroute Sky' was detained at the port of Ningbo following a Port State Control inspection on April 18, 2026. The inspectors found a total of eight deficiencies, two of which were being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. The inspection was conducted under the Tokyo Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The ship left the port again on April 20, next headed to Caojing, where it arrived on April 21.
