Panic on disabled vessel
The "Chang Long" suffered a mechanical failure 45 miles west of Chedju do in the Yellow sea late at night on July 9, 2015. The ship which was en route from Zhoushan to Inchon was disabled facing an oncoming typhoon. A panic broke out among the 18 Chinese Crew members, which was soothed by the East China Sea Rescue Bureau with radio talks. Salvage vessels were sent to the distressed vessel, which reached Lianyungang anchorage on July 10 under own power, escorted by salvage vessels.
