Aidacosma

On the night of July 24, the 'Aidascoma', en route from Marseille to Barcelona, requested the medical evacuation of a sick passenger. The CCS of Salvamento Marítimo in Barcelona mobilized the SAR helicopter Helimer 203 to take the patient off, who was hoisted and transported to the port, where an ambulance was waiting for further tranfer to a hospital.

On the early morning of April 9, a medical evacuation of a crew member was requested from the ''AIDAcosma', en route from Cadiz to Alicante. The SAR helicopter Helimer 220 was mobilized by the CCS Tarifa of Salvamento Marítimo. The patient was hoisted off Algeciras and transported to the Jerez Airport, from where he was taken to a hospital for medical treatment on a higher level.

On March 2 at 8 a.m., a passenger needed to be medevaced from the 'AIDACosma', en route from Las Palmas to Funchal, while the ship was sailing 45 nautical miles from the Spanish coast. The RCC of Salvamento Marítimo in Tenerife mobilized the SAR helicopter Helimer 204 to take the paitient off. After the sick person was hoisted, he was transferred to shore, where an ambulance was waiting for the further transport to a hospital for medical care on a higher level.

On the evening of Feb 16, 2025, a medical emergency occurred on the 'Aida Cosma' off the Canary Islands. A passenger needed to be medevaced, while the ship was supposed to head for Funchal. Bad weather conditions made the call impossible. As a result, the vessel was south of Tenerife. A rescue helicopter was requested, which landed on the ship's deck at around 6 p.m. The patient was stabilized on a stretcher and then flown to the nearest hospital for medical treatment on a higher level.
