Rudder failure off Huelva
The "Luke" suffered a rudder failure while leaving Huelva on Feb 2, 2016, and had a near miss with another tanker. With the help of a tug the "Luke" was taken to the outer roads. Inspection found detainable deficiencies. The vessel was released on Feb 5, after the crew fixed the deficiencies, and left Huelva the same day, bound for Laayoune, Western Sahara.
