The 'Birthe Bres' en route from Karlstad to Casablanca with seven crew members on board required to change spark plugs in the main engine, in position 49 52 05 N, 003 27 01 W, 22 miles south-southeast of Start Point on Dec 28, 2019, at 9 a.m. The vessel was carrying 2480 tonnes of timber in packet and paper on reel as cargo. The expected time for completion of repairs was estimated to be 1-2 hours. After the crew had completed its repair works the ship resumed its voyage at 10.25 a.m. with an ETA at Casablanca as of Jan 2, 2020.
