Medevac off A Coruña
On June 26, 2024, the 'Celsius Gandhinagar', en route from Zeebrugge to Cameron, USA, requested the medical evacuation of a crew member of the gas tanker 154 nautical miles northwest of A Coruña. The resppnse was coordinated with the NBritish MRCC. The CCS Fisterra of Salvamento MarÃtimo mobilized the SAR helicopter Helimer 401, which hoisted the man and transported him to Alvedro, where an ambulance was waiting for further transfer to hospital.
