Three stowaways detained on board
Three stowaways were detained by the crew of the 'CMA CGM Fort Saint Charles' about 8,5 miles NNR of Margate at the Tongue anchorage on May 13, 2020. The stowaways had contacted Kent Police via 999, stating that they were stuck in a container of a vessel. Investigation confirmed they were on the 'CMA CGM Fort Saint Charles' north of Margate. The French and Belgium authorities were informed about the incident. After the arrival at Coryton, one stowaway received medical care and was disembarked. At 11.40 p.m. the ship left the port to Zeebrugge.
