Detention in Dongjiakou
The 'Caruzo' was detained at Dongjiakou on Oct 25, 2025 by Tokyo MoU inspectors during a port state inspection. The inspection revealed 14 deficiencies, two of which were being regarded as serious and grounds for a detention. The tanker was on its first call at Dongjiakou, where inspectors reviewed certificates and safety management records under the ISM Code.
SALE OF THE SUEZMAX CAP LAURENT
Euronav NV today announces that the Company sold its Suezmax Cap Laurent (1998 - 146,145 dwt), for USD 22.25 million to Indian owners. The vessel was wholly owned by Euronav The capital gain on that sale of about USD 11.1 million will be recorded in the fourth quarter. Following the sale, the availability of the revolver under the USD 750 million facility was reduced by USD 11.5 million. The vessel was delivered to its new owner on 26 November 2015
