Troubled cargo ship guided to emergency port
The 'Carten Elina' got in trouble in stormy weather between Torungene and Arendal on Oct 4, 2025, en route to Sandnes, amid waves of more than four metres height. The lifeboat 'Inge Steenslandgods' was called to assist and brought a pilot out to the cargo ship, who was dropped off on board. The ship was then guided to the Arendal Port at Eydehavn, where it sought shelter from the storm until Oct 5. On Oct 6 it arrived in Haugesund, proceeded to Bergen the same day and then to Høyanger.
