Electrical fault
The "Caroline A.", en route from Antwerp to Fawley, with a crew of 15 on board, suffered an electrical fault with the starting of the engine, in position 50 32 24N, 000 26 07E, on Aug 13, 2019, at 1 p.m. Repairs were expected to be completed within 30 minutes. The Dover Coastguard and Channel Navigation Information Service (CNIS) were monitoring the situation until the ship resumed its voyage and dropped anchor on Portsmouth Anchorage in the afternoon of Aug 14.
