Four crew members removed for possession of child sexual exploitation material.

Four crew members of the 'Carnival PRide' were removed from the ship by the US immigration authorities. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials boarded thhip while it was docked in Baltimore on Sept. 7, 2025, based off intelligence that crew members were in possession of child sexual exploitation material. After boarding the vessel and interviewing the four suspected crew members, officers confirmed they had received and viewed the exploitation material. CBP revoked their shore passes and these criminals were being removed from the country. The employees faced accusations of "possession of child sexual exploitation material" Local advocacy groups claimed that the three Filipino and one Indonesian crew members were detained and deported without due process.

Medevac off Dún Laoghaire

In the evening of Aug 18, 2022, the Dún Laoghaire RNLI was tasked to a medical evacuation on the passing 'Carnival Pride', en route form Liverppol to Cobh. The lifeboat launched into clear conditions, with a fresh breeze and took the patient, doctor and a nurse back to the berth at Dún Laoghaire harbour where they were passed over to the ambulance.

Technical issue delayed return to Baltimore

The departure of the 'Carnival Pride' from Freeport was delayed at the weekend. The ship suffered technical issues, and in combination with bad weather the ship finally sailed on Feb 23 at 8.30 a.m. and had a delayed return to Baltimore at 8 p.m. It left port again on Feb 24 at 5.40 a.m.

Medevac off San Juan

The US Coast Guard medevaced a 34-year-old man from the 'Carnival Pride' on Jan 16, 2020, approximately 75 miles north of San Juan. Coast Guard Sector San Juan watchstanders received a medevac request from the cruise ship, which was approximately 230 miles north of San Juan, stating the man was reportedly suffering from medical complications and needed further medical care. The watchstanders directed the cruise ship to a rendezvous point and directed the launch of a Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew. The helicopter crew rendezvoused with the cruise ship approximately 75 miles north of San Juan and safely transported the man to awaiting emergency medical services, who took the man to a local hospital in San Juan.
