Drugs found in container
233 kilos of cocaine were found in a container loaded with charcoal in bags aboard the "Cap San Artemissio" while she was docked in Santos in the night of Nov 26, 2016. Traffickers approached the vessel from seaside on a boat, and the bags with drugs were hoisted onto the ship by people on the deck and hidden in the container. No arrests were made, but some dockers and stevedores were interrogated, no mentioning of a possible crew involvement. On Nov 28at 5.40 a.m. the ship left Santos after completing preliminary investigation, bound for Antwerp via Tanger, ETA Dec 10.
