Cabo-Victoria

Seven crew members of the "Cabo Victoria" which was moored in Quintero Bay, tested positive for Covid-19. These cases were identified after applying the sanitary protocol established for ships from other regions that arrive in the Valparaíso region. In the beginning four people coincided with abnormal parameters, so they were immediately isolated. After this, 10 people had to undergo the PCR test, of which seven were positive. In addition, another 13 were carrying out preventive quarantine in a health residence because they were in close contact with the infected. On Sep 17, 2020, the ship which had more than 28 people on board, left the port of Quintero and was currently moored off Valparaíso.
