Container ship boarded by robbers
Three robbers armed with metal sticks approached he "Burgundy"Q in a small boat at the Tin Can Island Terminal, Lagos,on July 29, 2019, at 3 a.m. They boarded the vessel, attacked the duty able seaman who was on routine rounds, stole his personal belongings and escaped. The alarm was raised, and a search was carried out. The duty able seaman was slightly injured during the incident and a further medical check-up was initiated. The incident was reported to the Harbour Master.
