The 'Bunun Ace', coming from Patillos, allided with a pier while mooring at Imbituba on Oct 1, 2019, around 2.30 p.m. The starboard bow was seriously damaged. The ship was brought under control by assisting tugs and berthed around 5 p.m. The accident did not compromise operations and the port remained fully operational. The crew of 16 was unharmed.
