Stowaway jumped over board
A stowaway was detected aboard the 'Bulk Bequia' on July 11, 2022, off Las Palmas, where the ship was anchored. After he was found by the crew, he jumped into the water. The captain notified Salvamento MarÃtimo which mobilized the SAR vessel 'Salvamar Nunki' and the SAR helicopter Helimer 206. The man was dound and transferred to the pier for collection by ambulance. The bulk carrier left the anchorage en route to Oran on July 12.
