42 ships from and to Odesa since September

On Oct 21, the 'Jolanda' and 'Briza' left the ports of Great Odesa to pass through the temporary Black Sea corridor, while the 'Eleen Neptune', 'Rio', 'Doro' and 'True Harmony' arrived at the ports for loading. All vessels successfully passed the most dangerous section along the coast of Ukraine in the Odesa Region and entered the territorial sea of Romania or entered the ports of Great Odesa. Since Sep 16, 2023, at least 42 ships with a total deadweight of 1.7 million tons have arrived at the ports of Great Odesa through the Ukrainian grain corridor. During the same period, at least 23 ships left the ports of Great Odesa with a total deadweight (volume of cargo) of 0.85 million tons.

Three ships left Ukraine, one more en route to Ukrainian port

In the morning of Oct 17, 2023, three ships, the 'Bull', 'Ramus' and 'Bahar K', have left ports of the Odesa Region for passage along the temporary Black Sea corridor. The 'Bull' had entered a Ukrainian port for loading on Oct 12. The 'Ramus' and 'Bahar K' followed for entering along the temporary corridor on Oct 13. The 'Briza' followed for entrance to one of the Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea on Oct 17. According to the calculations of the Center for Transport Strategies, 33 ships passed (taking into account Briza) along the new route announced by Ukraine to enter the ports of the Odesa Region. For exit (including five vessels that have been in ports since the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022), taking into account these three vessels, this figure reached 24. A total of 57 ships passed in both directions.

The tug "Braveheart" towed the "Lena" into the port of Flushing on Aug 28, 2010. The ship had left Santa Catalina port in Las Palmas on Aug 12 and encountered rudder damage. The ship is to enter a repair yard. It reached Flushing roads at 12.45 a.m. and was berthed one hour later.
