Medevac off Las Palmas
On March 3, 2023, the 'Bright Sky', en route from Leixoes to Walvis Bay, requested the medical evacuation of a crew member of Polish nationality, with a possible stroke, 60 nautical miles northeast of Las Palmas. The CCS Las Palmas of Salvamento MarÃtimo mobilized the SAR helicopter Helimer 205 to the ship, which hoisted the seaferer and transferred him to the Hospital Doctor NegrÃn.
