Tanker in collision with coaster
The "Breeze" was in collision with the Indonesian coaster "Makmur" in the morning of Dec 9, 2018, in the Singapore Strait near the Indonesia-Singapore sea border. The freighter sank, the 11 crew members were rescued, four of them having been badly injured. The "Makmur" had been en route from Singapore to Thailand with a cargo of merchandise, the "Breeze" had sailed from Yeosu and was bound to Galle, ETA Dec 14. The "Breeze" was detained for investigations at Singapore Anchorage for 11 hours on Dec 9.
