Perpetrators stole engine spares
On June 12, 2025, at 04.00 a.m. the 'Bonneville', while underway in the eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme of the Singapore Strait, was boarded by six perpetrators, armes with knives and gun like objects, in pos. 1° 6.3' N 103° 44.8' E, about 4.2 nautical miles off Pulau Cula. No injuries were reported. The intruders stole engine spares.

The 'Bonneville' suffered main engine damage on Feb 21, 2020, at Port Elizabeth The vessel attempted to reach the port of Durban with slow speed for repairs, but had to turn back. The vessel dropped anchor on the port's roads in pos. 33° 52.04' N 025° 46.77' E waiting for the permission to berth at the port of Coega for repairs. After it had completed its repair works, it sailed from the port of Coega on March 12, bound to Djibouti, ETA MArch 25.
