Boknafjord

On board the "Boknafjord" an elderly lady fell and injured herself in the afternoon of Oct 6, 2022, during bad weather and rough seas. The woman was in the front of the lounge and got provided first aid by the crew which was quickly on the spot. The accident happened just minutes before arriving in Arsvågen. An ambulance was called and the victim was picked up on the quay.

In the morning of Apr 22, 2013, grease caught fire in the the canteen area of the "Boknafjord" on its way from Mortavika to Arsvågen. The small fire was extinguished immediately after tall flames and smoke had emerged in the galley. The general fire alarm needed not to be triggered.

Two buses were badly damaged during the crossing of the "Boknajord" from Mortavika to Arsvågen on Jan 30, 2013, around 3 p.m. due to bad weather. The buses of Kystbussen and Bus4You which were bound for Bergen stood on the foreship of the ferry when the waves hit. Sailings over the Boknajord were aborted until the evening. The buses were being pulled away from Arsvågen as the electricity did not work after the windshiels were smashed.
