BOKA SUB C 9275153
The "Boa Sub C" on May 6, 2010, will be used to lower the dome carried by the supplier "Joe Griffin", 2998 gt(IMO-No.: 9529891) to the oil well in the Gulf of Mexico to contain the spill created by the sinking of the rig "Deepwater Horizon“ on April 20, 2010. The ship's cranes will fix the dome in a water depth of 1542 metres off Port Fourchon.
