Five injured in allision
The 'Bocayna Express' suffered an accident in the afternoon of Feb 2, 2020, during the docking maneuver in the port of Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. Five persons were injured when the slight impact occurred. All of them were passengers waiting to disembark. Two ambulances were requested, who attended and assess them. Two were taken to a hospital as a precaution for further checks. After serving the passengers, Fthe ferry resumed service normally. The ship has suffered minimal damage to its starboard side sterhn that was to be repaired upon arrival at the port of Corralejo.
