Blue-Star-Paros

On the morning of Feb 1, 2025, the Port Authority of Amorgos was informed by the captain of the'Blue Star Paros', that during the mooring process at the port of Katapola it lost its port side anchor. The ship, which was operating a scheduled route from the port of Piraeus to the ports of Paros, Naxos, Iraklia, Schinoussa, Koufonisi and Katapola on Amorgos, safely docked at the port and disembarked 47 passengers. The Amorgos Port Station banned the ship from sailing until the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance from the classification society that monitors it.

On the evening of Aug 19, 2024, the Central Port Authority of Piraeus was informed that a 21-year-old crew member of the 'Blue STar Paros' was injured during the process of unloading the ship at the port of Piraeus. A vehicle driven by a 46-year-old citizen, injured the 21-year-old sailor in the leg, as he was moving backwards under the instructions of the sailor. The injured person was initially given first aid by the crew of an ambulance at the scene and then taken to a private clinic for medical treatment. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Central Port Authority of Piraeus.

The Port Authority of Syros was informed in the afternoon of Dec 23, 2022, by the Master of the 'Blue Star Paros' hat an 18-month-old todler on board needed immediate hospital care. The ferry, which had sailed from the port of Syros bound for the port of Piraeus, returned to the port, where the child was picked up by an ambulance and transferred to the General Hospital of Syros for medical treatment.
