Disabled freighter towed to Tuzla
The "Bluefish", en route from Novorosisyk to Antwerp, suffered a technical failure at the northern entrance of the Istanbul Strait, on May 13, 2019. The tug "Kurtarma 2" was appointed to tow the vessel to the Tuzla shipyard area. The ships entered the strait on May 15 at 7 a.m. During ithe transit a coastal safety tug provided escort service for the vessels and traffic safety. The ship arrived in Tuzla on May 15 at 3.45 p.m. and was moored in pos. 40° 50.16' N 029° 16.48' E. It sailed from Tuzla on June 25, bound for Piombino, ETA July 1.
