Tanker boarded by robbers
The "Bright Dawn" was boarded by four armed robbers, during cargo operations at the SDS Terminal St.1, Lubuk Gaung, on July 27, 2019, around 8 p.m. The alert crew noticed the robbers near the engine room and raised the alarm. Upon hearing the alarm and seeing the crew, the robbers fled and escaped through the steering gear room. Later, a search of the vessel was carried out by the crew.
