Cargo ship saved 113 migrants
On March 8, 2017, the "Gagliarda", coming from Patras and bound to Ravenna, saved 113 refugees from a small boat the Ionian Sea and brought them to the Greek port of Patras. The boat drifted between the Greek coast and the coast of Italy with 109 migrants from Pakistan, three from Syria and one from India. Possibly they set off in Crete or somewhere at the Greek west coast.
