Collision on Punta Indio Channel
The "Rich Future" collided with the LPG tanker "Charlton" on Sep 15 , 2016, around noon on the Punta Indio Channel, Rio de la Plata. The bulkcarrier, which was en route to San Lorenzo, resumed the voyage after the collision and moored on San Lorenzo anchorage on the Paraná river in the afternoon of Sep 16. The tanker remained at anchor on the Punta Indio Channel, having suffer edsome damage. One crew member was slightly injured. The tanker was en route from Buenos Aires to Dakar.
