Robbers boarded ship in Sandakan
The "Fengning" was boarded by two robbers at the port of Sandakan, Malaysia, on Aug 27, 2019. The duty able seaman noticed them on the forecastle, at 12.25 a.m. Subsequently, alarm was raised. Seeing the alerted crew members, the robbers jumped overboard and escaped in a boat which was alongside the vessel. Upon investigation, ship's properties were reported stolen. The incident was reported to the local police.
