Bulk carrier diverted to Bermuda for medevac
The 'Wulin', en route from M;obile to Nador, diverted to Bermuda as one of the crew members needed medical assistance on April 8, 2022. At 7:50 a.m. the RCC Bermuda was contacted to advise that the ship was diverting to Bermuda with an ETA as of 3.15 p.m. in order to drop off the sick crew member. The ship had received medical advice from a doctor ashore by telephone. The patient was taken off by the pilot boat 'St. George' at the deep draft position. He was transferred to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, and the ship resumed its voyage with an ETA as of April 16.
