Detention in Tang Shan

The 'African Cheetah' was detained at Tang Shan on Dec 1, 2025, after its arrival from Tianjin, by Port State Control officers under the Tokyo MoU. In the initial inspection, officials found eight deficiencies, three of which were being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention. The ship was released again on Dec 3 and was next destined to Port Klang.
