Bergensfjord

On Oct 31, 2021, at 03.14 a.m. a medical evacuation was carried out from the 'Bergensfjord'. The Medical Radio had recommended the evacuation of a sick person from the ferry en route from Tananger to Hirsthals. The evacuation was carried out by the Norwegian rescue service.

On Sep 8, 2021, the 'Bergensfjord' left 60 passengers behind on the ferry quay in Bergen. 25 of them took a bus to Stavanger to catch up with the ship, which had sailed on 1.30 p.m. and only had taken on board the passengers who had boarded via cars. The passengers on foot were left on the quay after having waited a long time to get on board. Finally, rumours began to circulate that the ferry had gone. The passengers have not received a good explanation of how they could be forgotten on the quay. There must have been a failure in communication between the shore based teams and ship that led to the passengers being abandoned. Everyone got a refund and received a value check. The company apologized in the strongest terms.

The "Bergensfjord" had to turn to port after leaving Langesund in the afternoon of July 3, 2017, and return to port because of an injured 11-year-old on board. At 3 p.m. the captain was notified that an 11-year-old girl had fallen and suffered injuries. The girl who traveled with parents was taken care of by health personnel on board. The captain contacted the MRCC, but the helicopter in Sola would have taken an hour before arriving at the ship, so it was best to turn around. The "Bergensfjord" arrived at Langesund again at 4 p.m., and the girl was taken to the hospital in Skien by ambulance.
