Cargo slipped into the water
The "Allin" developed a heavy list to port side while loading a cargo of clipboard plates in the afternoon of Sep 25, 2017, at Dikili port in Izmir. Most of the already loaded cargo slipped overboard around 4 p.m. and landed in the water, a small part on the quay. The noise caused by the cargo crashing onto the jetty caused a brief panic among the coastal wanderers. An investigation into the cause of the shift was launched.
