Collision in Sunda Strait
Enroute from Cigading to Gresik the "Gas Melawi" was in collision with the ferry "Menggala" in the morning of Jan 18, 2015, in the Sunda Strait off Celigon. The tanker struck the ferry and damaged the bow ramp. The tanker suffered slight damages. No injures reported. At 01.30 UTC on Jan 19 the ferry was anchored off Celigon.
