Defiencies found during inspection under Paris MoU
The 'Gem Daniela' underwent a detailed inspection under the Paris Memorandum of Understanding in Dagenham on March 25, 2026, where it had arrived en route from Port Klang the previous day, and which highlighted deficiencies on the tanker. The inspectors examined the accommodation, galley, cargo area, engine room, navigation bridge, decks and forecastle, and steering-room, while an emergency steering drill and checks on bilge alarms, oil water separator alarms, the emergency generator a.o. The ship left the port again on March 26, next headed to Rotterdam with an ETA as of March 27.
