The 'Omega Trader', managed by Japan's Mitsui OSK Lines Ltd, and hauling Iraqi crude, signaled over the past few days that it had reached Mumbai, according to the tracking data. The signal appeared to show it had exited the Strait of Hormuz, but in fact it has not transited the waterway. Its prior signal before reaching the city had been from inside the Persian Gulf, more than ten days ago.
