Ferry suffered propeller damage
On Feb 19, 2026, at midday, the Kalymnos Port Authority was informed that the 'Olymppios Ermis' had suffered a malfunction of the starboad side propeller, while sailing from the port of Mastichari, Kos, to the port of Leros, with 19 passengers, two private vehicles, two trucks, three motorcycles and seven crew members on board. The ship safely reached the port of Kalymnos. The Kalymnos Port Authority prohibited its departure until the damage was repaired.
