Belasitza

The 'Belasitza' was stuck at the bow, when the container ship 'CMA CGM Mermaid' (IMO: 9961283) allided with the quay upon is arrival at the port of Muuga, en route from Kotka, on Sep 8, 2025. as it approached the berth at the container terminal. The ship’s bow slammed head on into the quay. There were no reports of injuries, but the quay and the berth were damaged. The ship had arrived at the port at 11:53 a.m. UTC and berthed at the Muuga Transiidikeskuse Container Terminal shortly after. The navigational status changed as having run aground at 03:00 p.m. UTC. The AIS went dark for almost three hours. The 'Belasitza' had arrived en route from Flushing the same day and remained stationary in port as of Sep 12 as well as the 'CMA CGM Mermaid'.
