Worker fell from ship and died
A worker, ages 23 and resident of Ghamariya village in the Patna district, Bihar, working aboard the “Bay Island” accidently fell down from the ship while doing the cleaning job at on sep 6, 2015, at 5 p.m. The ship was berthed at Wharf No. 4 in Port Clair. The captain and the 2nd oficer of the ship immediately jumped into the sea and pulled him out. He was rushed to the GB Pant Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 6 p.m.
