Allision off Tulcea
The 'CSS Dijle', which was anchored in pos. 45° 12' N 028° 51 E off Tulcea, was hit by the bulkcarrier 'Rama H' (IMO: 8105404) on Dec 5, 2025, at noon. The latter had suffered rudder problems and slammed into the starboard side of the moored ship. It then scraped along the hull with its port side, causing significant damage. The investigations carried out showed that the accident was caused by the failure to take the vigilance measures provided for by the Danube Navigation Regulations by the captain of the ship performing the maneuver. Following the findings, the captain was fined 30,000 lei. The two ships left the Port of Tulcea and were heading to their destination ports.
