Grounding on the Don
The 'Zernograd', loaden with a cargo of grain, ran aground in the Azov area near the Petrovskiy village on the Don river en route from Rostov-on-Don to Trabzon on Jan 26, 2020, at 09.50 a.m. Four tugs were sent to pull the ship off at the high tide. The ship remained stuck in pos. 47° 7.45' N 039° 23.61' E as of Jan 27. It sailed from Azov on Jan 31 and arrived in Trabzon on Feb 3.
Grounded on River Volga, refloated - no damages
General cargo vessel Volga-44 ran aground on Nov 5 on 2678 kilometer mark, river Volga. In the morning Nov 6 vessel was refloated with the help of two river tugs. No damages reported.
