Propulsion trouble off Maassluis
The "Bear" encountered propulsion problems in the morning of May 28, 2019, whilst outbound from Rotterdam, and dropped anchor off Maassluis in front of the Furie building in the channel of Het Scheur. The two Kotug Smit operated tugs "SD Jacoba" and "Fairplay 24" were called to assist and pulled the AHTS to the Wilhelmina Harbour. On June 1 at 8.40 a.m. the ship finally left Rotterdam bound towards the Northsea.
