One year after the fire in the Baltic Sea on Oct 11, 2024, the "Annika" was is still being repaired by the Strela Shiprepair shipyard in Stralsund, to which the tanker had been towed at the beginning of the year. The ship has since left the shipyard and was now moored at the pier for final works. The major repairs have been completed, and the interior work was now underway. Extensive work is pending in the rear area of ​​the ship. Accordingly, the main and auxiliary engines must be repaired, and the living quarters and storage rooms must be rebuilt.
