Engine failure off Kythira
The "SCII" suffered an engine failure in position 36 12 18 N, 023 26 00 E, east of Kythira island,on June 23, 2019, at 05.50 a.m. The problem was rectified by the crew and the vessel continued the voyage from Marseille to its destination Piraeus, where it arrived on June 24 at 5 p.m.
Detention in Volos
The "Scii" was detained at Volos port on March 6, 2018, due to serious deficiencies, found during an inspection. The cement carrier was subject to a Port State Control (PSC) in the afternoon of March 6. Following the inspection, the vessel was detained under the Paris MOU, after serious deficiencies on board the vessel were identified by the PSC inspectors.
