Collision on the Volga
The "Persey", en route from St. Petersburg, was in collision with a barge towed by the tug "Anna Lisitsyna" on the Volga river at kilometre mark 933 near the town of Kstovo, south of Nizhniy Novgorod, on Oct 23, 2018, at 10 p.m. The vessel sustained a dent above the water line, measuring 50cm x 50cm, and a vertical crack measuring 25cm x 4cm. No water ingress nor pollution, ship traffic in the area was not affected. On Oct 25 the "Persey" was moored in pos. 56° 10.30' N 044° 12.59' E close to Kstovo.
