BB WORKER 9360051
The "BB Worker" was engaged in saving a burning Dutch yacht in the Northsea on Aug 31 jointly with a boat of teh KNRM station Egmond upon sea and towed the boat to Den Helder, escorted by the boat of the KNRM station Callantsoog, The production platform "Q4C" had reported the fire upon which the rescue center Den Helder raised alarm. The buoy layer "Terschelling" reached the casualty at 1 p.m. followed by a helicopter five minutes later which saved the skipper of the boat from a raft and transported him to the base De Kooy in Den Helder in stable condition. The "BB Worker" was able to control the fire at 4.40 p.m. and then started with the salvage of the boat.
